The Fragmentation of Portfolio Operations
Today, crypto funds operate across multiple exchanges, custodians, and a growing number of DeFi and CeFi protocols. Managing positions across these venues often requires multiple tools, manual exports, and time consuming reconciliation.
As capital moves between different venues, fund managers rely on fragmented dashboards, disconnected data sources, and spreadsheet based workflows just to understand their current exposure.
When crypto funds scale in all metrics, the operational complexity increases. Fund managers execute on centralized exchanges, deploy capital across DeFi protocols, maintain assets with custodians, and report performance to LPs, all while managing activity across multiple systems.
The result of this is fragmented data, manual reconciliation, and significant time spent moving between dashboards, exchange exports, and reporting tools. The challenge is not accessing venues. It's maintaining a unified view across them.
Renesis is built to solve this challenge by unifying portfolio management, execution, and reporting across both CeFi and DeFi.
Kraken Across the Renesis PMS and OEMS
Kraken is one of the industry's longest-standing and most trusted cryptocurrency exchanges, serving both institutional and retail participants globally.
With access to spot markets, derivatives, staking opportunities, and deep liquidity across a broad range of digital assets, Kraken serves as a core venue for many professional investors and crypto funds. We integrated Kraken because institutional funds rarely operate on a single venue.
Having capital deployed across exchanges, custodians, and DeFi protocols, maintaining a unified view of portfolio activity becomes increasingly important. Kraken is a key part of many fund workflows, making it a natural addition to the Renesis platform.
In addition to portfolio visibility through the Renesis PMS, Kraken is also available through the Renesis OEMS. This enables funds to access Kraken execution workflows while managing portfolio management, execution, and reporting from a single platform.
The Renesis OEMS combines execution, analytics, and risk management in a unified system. Funds can leverage smart order routing to access liquidity across venues, execution algorithms such as TWAP and VWAP for larger orders, pre-trade analytics to evaluate liquidity and slippage, and configurable risk controls to manage trading activity. The result is a more efficient execution workflow across both CeFi and DeFi.
By integrating Kraken, we're continuing our mission to provide the infrastructure layer for digital asset funds across portfolio management, execution, and reporting.
What the Integration Covers
With Kraken now live on Renesis, funds can :
Track Kraken balances and positions alongside DeFi holdings
Access Kraken through the Renesis OEMS for execution, analytics, and risk management
Monitor portfolio performance from a single dashboard
Consolidate CeFi and DeFi exposure into one reporting layer
Reduce reliance on spreadsheets and manual exchange exports
Improve operational efficiency across fund workflows
What’s Next
The integration of Kraken is part of a broader effort to expand the coverage available within Renesis.
Today, Renesis supports 100+ DeFi protocols across lending, staking, yield, and derivatives, alongside major centralized exchanges and custodians.
Our goal remains the same: provide crypto funds with a single operating system for managing capital across the entire digital asset ecosystem.
